Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Is this a violation?
My wife and I are separated and I have custody of our 4 year-old boy. My wife lives with a man who my son is afraid of. I've asked my wife why he reacts this way to ''Bob'' and she claims she does not know. Apparently the judge at our custody hearing felt something was not right as my wife was granted liberal visitation rights BUT SHE IS RESTRICTED FROM BRINGING MY SON TO BOB'S HOME. My wife just returned my son to me after spending 5 hours with her and he told me that he spent the entire time at ''Bob's'' house! Isn't this a violation of the judge's ruling and what could happen to my wife because of her actions?

Her visitation might be severely curtailed, such as supervised visitation.

Re: Is this a violation?
Without seeing the Order, I can not advise whether it is or is not a violation. However, if it is a violation, it is incumbent upon you to file an application with the Court to further suspend or limit her visitation as a result of her actions. If you would like to further discuss this matter, please feel free to contact my secretary, Debbie, at 856=795=6700 to schedule a consultation.
Re: Is this a violation?
Thank you for your inquiry.
In light of your ex-wife's blatant violation of your litigatn's rights and the previous Court order's, my suggestion is to file for a transfer of physical custody.
As it would be my pleasure to speak to you regarding your situation, please feel free to contact my office to discuss same.
Very truly yours,
