Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Visitation Flexibility

I have joint legal custody of my two children, with their mother having full physical custody. Visitation every other weekend for me. I recently moved two hours away for a better job. I cannot pick up the children at 5pm as stated in our court agreement. I usually pick them up at their daycare. I have filed a motion to ammend visitation arrangements, but our case hasn't been heard yet. Is she responsible for taking care of the kids until I can get there as she has physical custody?

Re: Visitation Flexibility

She is not supposed to deny you visitation; she is expected to make a reasonable adjustment to your new situation. I am certain the Court will

make such a ruling on your motion.
