Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Visitation refusal

My husband lives in NY and has visitation with his 3 children who live in NJ one weekend a month. He recently went to court to try and increase the visitation to two weekends a month but was denied, his ex wife did not want that. She has told him he cannot visit with the kids this month as they have sporting events. She told him he may spend the weekend down in South Jersey where they live and see them, but they cannot come to ny. Is this legal? Is there any recourse for this visitation denial?

I would like to know what was submitted to the Court which cause the application to be denied.

There is legal recourse. She can be compelled to comply with the order.

Call me if you like.

Re: Visitation refusal

She is in violation of the order. It is a court order and she cannot decide when to follow it. Furthermore, one weekend a month is crazy. Unless he is an axe murderer, I cannot understand why the visitation is so bad. He needs a good attorney right away to fight for him. Call me at 732/247/3340. My initial consultations are always free.
