Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

visitation

I have a 16 year old daugther who dose not want to see her father any more. She only sees him every other saturday for 7 hours. He lost joint custody and was found to be a unfit father. The judge gave him this visitation in hope that thier relationship would get better and it isnt. I also have 2 other children, all 3 have the same father. None of them want to see him. How old dose a child have to be before they have a say to do visitations? Do they have to wait until they are 18? It is becoming a real problem to make them go, and they fight me all the way.

Re: visitation

Knowing what to do in family law situations is hard for the lawyers, too. I suppose that motion could be filed to terminate visitation and the statements by the children as to their reasons could be attached. I am willing to talk with you about the problem.
