Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

there is currently a warrant of arrest out for my sons father. Ordered by the jersey city court house the judge told me I do not have to give him our child until he is arrested. He failed to appear to court that day and hasnt been seeing our son. He stated that he will not see our son until the police got tired of looking for him. I've made a police report every single time hes failed to pick up our son on his visitation days. Can I have his visits suspended since he is not showing up and if so is there any certain number of visits he has to miss?

There is no set number of visits. If there is a substantial change, then you can file a motion to modify the visitation. The court will act in the child's best interest, so you have to show how the missed visits impact your son.
