Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Warren County, Marred 10 yrs, 1 child at home in college, ( child not mothers), her income 75, my income 78, home together Want to file for divorce, but no where to go, can I stay in house until sold, will I have to pay alimony?. I did have an affair about 12 years ago will that matter. My wife is verbally abusive, just picks ups and leaves for days, and verbally notes she hates my son. Stressed to max. What can I do.
