Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
My wife and I have agreed to get a divorce after 10 months of marriage. I was wondering if I'm going to have to pay Alimony? We only were married for 10 months, no kids, no property to sort out. Aslo, I'm currently enlisted in the Military.

There is no alimony in a divorce after such a brief marriage.

I can't see how you would have to. Sounds like a pretty easy divorce. I would still speak to an attorney. If it is really this easy, it shouldn't cost you much to wrap up. Call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss.

Highly unlikely with such a short marriage. Feel free to contact me at 856-546-8010 to discuss your matter. If you do, mention Law Guru and your first consultation would be free. Good luck! Rob Gleaner
