Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I will be filing for bankruptcy becaue my husband secretly opened up 5 credit cards in my name and charged 50K in everyday things. He did not use the money on gambling, drugs or women. He just didn't have the courage to tell me we didn't have as much money as I thought we did. I am very hurt and now my credit will be forever scarred. I am considering filing for divorce as well. My question is will filing for bankruptcy help me or hurt me in a divorce situation. I do not work and have 2 young children. I'm finding it very difficult to just forgive him for this.
