Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Hello I was wondering what the laws are in New Jersey when it comes to getting a legal separation. If the spouse has committed adultery is there a way that the spouse could postpone the court date? Or is committing adultery fall within the the at-fault ground and there isn't anyway to postpone the court date? Only thing I was able to research online is having a medical reason for postponing the court date.

Call me at 855-9JEF-LAW. My initial consultations are free. First, you are either married or you are not. Adultery has nothing to do with anything. If you have a court date, you should have a lawyer who should explain all of this to you. And court date for what? You really need a consultation with someone as you have a lot of confusing issues here.
