Family and medical leave act

My husband will start treatment for cancer very soon. I would like to know whether I would be eligible to receive paid leave from my job,under the FMLA Act.

You are eligible for up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave under FMLA and under the NJ Family Leave Act. The employer is not required to pay you for the time off although you can use vacation days. Feel free to contact this office if you would like to discuss the matter further.
