Legal Question in Medical Leave in New Jersey

hello, my father passed away suddenly in oct.2006 and left behind my sister who is disabled and has a multitude of health and mental problems. My husband and I have been taking care of her since then.She never married nor had children.I have full charge of her and her daily life. If the need arises can I take fmla for anything concerning her? thank-you

This is a question you have to discuss with someone in your company.
You can do it without telling them why you're asking. Just get a copy of the policy and if you have any questions, consult a local attorney.
There is also plenty of on-line information,--you might have the become her legal guardian (if you haven't already, definitely look into this) in order for the law to apply to you.
