Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

Myself and 51 of my neighbors are being sued by a local lake asociation for non payment of dues. There are 52 individual docket numbers. Is it possible for a judge to rule on the remaining cases after ruling on the first one? If that was to happen, I would not have the opportunity to defend myself.

Thank You

There may be some sense in talking to a lawyer right now, before the court case goes any further. These lake association claims are based on some pretty odd things, like provisions in the deeds from 50 years ago, or claims that the whole neighborhood was developed at the same time and these dues are owed by everyone. It can be a complicated lawsuit.

Give me a call, make an appointment to come see me, and let's get moving on this for you. I know people worry about how expensive a lawyer is, so I am careful to be as inexpensive as I can for my clients. Before you spend a dime, you will know how much this is likely to be.
