Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey
Taken advantage of by employer.
In March of 2006 my emlpoyer had me take out a mortgage in my name to buy a house for his daughter. He offered me some compensation and at the time my husband was receiving chemo for cancer, and funds were low so we agreed. She was supposed to buy it from me in 4 months. Then agreement changed to put house in her name to let her refinance. After a long convoluted mess, she divorced her husband and left the house and me with a $2000 a month mortgage I cannot afford to pay. It has been 3 months since mortgage was paid and my credit score is dropping. and I am having difficulty just trying to get a car loan. My employer was the owner of the realty company and the mortgage company. He had agreed to make payment if she didn't but he made one then stopped.

You must sue him to enforce his promises.
