what is my brothers girlfriend entitled to as far as his personal affects are concerend they were never legaly married there is a 9 year old daughter as a result of this union

If your brother died without a surviving wife and without a will his child inherits EVERYTHING he owned.

The former girlfriend is not entitled to any inheritance without a will.
