Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey
civil jugment on police officer
Once a judment is entered, finding a police officer liable for the injuries the plaintiff subtained during a lawful arrest, how long will the plaintiff have to begin the process of recieving any monies. For an example the judment was in 1996. since that judment there was no corespondents from the plaintiff. Seven years later the plaintiff decided to enforce the judment. Is there a staute of limitation to begin the process of collection post judment??

As long as the judgment is valid, there is no statue of limitations.
