Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

Email Conversations

Hello,

Is it legal to print out a email conversation and use that conversation against the person who sent it? An email conversation was printed out and given to a dance school to try and get my daughter thrown out. Is this defamation of character? If so, what action can be taken?

Was the email conversation real or fake?

Did your daughter have a reasonable expectation that her words would not be revealed to a third party? ie attorney client communication
