Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey
I need to file a motion to enforce litigant's rights. I have the mortgage signed and the mortgagee has been making payments but refuses to release the documents from escrow so they can be filed with the County. First, do I need to file a legal argument with my motion? Second, are there any cases that force a release of documents from escrow?

You can't file such a motion unless there is a case in court. I am not sure why documents would be escrowed or what such a function would serve. Whomever was responsible for closing title should have taken care of that. Give me a call if you want to discuss the matter. /p/ My firm handles matters of this type. If I can be of further help to you, call or email. /p/ See also: http://info.corbettlaw.net/lawguru.htm
