Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey
filing suit against new jersey
The case below was resolved after 12 years of hell I was divorced in f Pa and have a court order my ex-wife moved to NJ got a court order for child support in the state of NJ For 12 years NJ refused to listen to anyone to resolve those issues I have been harassed by Middlesex County probation& Welfare they have kept my income taxes last year my passport when I went to see my daughter I had to worry about being locked up This caused undue anxiety and made visitation very hard I continued to get threatening letters from the county/state and despite every thing I tried Middlesex County refused to listen I am not an angry person, nor an angry ex-husband but I believe that even though no physical damage was done the mental anguish, and my rights as a citizen were violated I believe that the state caused real problems between my daughter and I My daughter never believed I was always current with my support She believed county workers Along with my daughter my taxes the letters the fear of jail the passport et I do believe that Middlesex County Probation & welfare and should be held responsible and compensate me for the 12 years of abuse it has inflicted. I am looking for someone who will work on a contingency bases

Re: filing suit against new jersey
Your request lacks much information, making it difficult to assess, however... You will get NOWHERE with a suit against the state for the following reasons:
1) they state/county workerws would have to have acted with the intention to abuse their position, and to spite you. --- This will be impossible unless you have proof that they were abusing their position and you intentionally, and I'd bet a bundle you can not do that.
2) This is most likely a VERY difficult case to prosecute, therefore no atty will take this matter on contingency, unless they are independently wealthy, and want a new hobby.
Just my opinion.
