Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

My daughter, 17, works a bank. A customer, who my daughter has seen in the bank on numerous occasions, came in to withdraw some money from her joint account with her husband. She told my daughter that they had just closed out an account and opened a new one and she couldn't remember her new account number. She purposely was distracting her from the computer screen and my daughter didn't click on 'special instructions' and gave her the husband's new account number not knowing this lady wasn't on the account - they were separated. She took her husband's money and also lost my daughter her job. The same thing happened the week before and another girl lost her job. Can we press charges against this lady? My daughter not only lost her job, but also the possibility of a $7,000 a year scholarship for college. The bank is also pressing charges against the woman for fraud.

yes you can go to the police and make a complaint. It appears, however that the banjk is doing this already. You can sue her civillay and try to get the money back. You may also have a claom against the bank for wrongfulll termination
