Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey
I was involuntarily committed into a mental hospital. I am innocent. The screening doctor used information from a false source to form his diagnosis then filed 'temporary order of commitment' from judge. Now I have diagnosis from hospital that damages my clean medical record and I have legal documents on file in the court that say I am mentally ill. How do I reverse this mess and remove the diagnosis and court records?

If you are saying that you were wrongly diagnosed because a third party made a false accusation against you and that you wish to modify the hospital record and the court record, you can move before the court to vacate the temporary order, based on information which you provide, but modifying the hospital record is a bit more difficult because you are saying that it was not the doctor's fault. You can move to seal the court record, but I believe that sealing the
hospital record may prove to be a practical unlikelihood.
