Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

I live in Gloucester County New Jersey and received a notice I was being sued in the Salem County New Jersey court system. Wouldn't the case have to be tried in the Gloucester County Court?

Not necessarily. It depends on what the case is about, whether there are co-defendants, and in which court it was brought. If you email the complaint to me, I will have a look at it and can give you a better idea of whether the venue is proper. /p/ See also: http://info.corbettlaw.net/lawguru.htm
