my mom died she had insurace through her job ..she had my brother as her over see on the insurace
my brother agreed we would split the 125,000 dollars ..My brother the wrote me a check for only 10,000 dollars what are my rights?

The beneficiaries of insurance are those named as such. If you and her brother are both named as beneficiaries, without any indication of how the benefits should be distributed, you and he would share equally.
You can sue him, if this is necessary. Call me if you like.
