You need to hire an attorney. To get off the mortgage is not so simple.
Call me if you like.

The literal answer is you would give something called a Quitclaim Deed to your spouse in order to relinquish any ownership or marital rights to the house. You should note that this does nothing to eliminate your liability for the mortgage loan, if any. The larger question, however, is why you would want to give up your interest in the house at this stage. You are separated. Do you have an attorney? You need to know your rights before you do anything. Give me a call if you would like to discuss your situation.

Get divorced. There is almost no reason not to.
