I am a plaintiff in a civil case, after leaving employment and signing a release the employer stopped my severence package claiming I made derogatory remarks about the company preventing a prospective employee from taking a jobI have affidavits from the employee and the recruiter stating I never made the comment. the defendant is a lawyer he testified at his deposition as to another person whom I allegedly made disparaging remarks this person was contacted and offered an affidavit stating she didnt know me nor did I prevent her in any manner from taking the job,,,,,the witness committed perjury in fact the witness an attorney called this person and was told she never spoke to me since the witness is an attorney is the perjury considered any worse if that is possible since it was done by an attorney

Re: perjury

It is worse in the sense that perjury is a criminal offense and shouldl there be a criminal charge which is sustained it would probably effect the lawyer's license to practice law.

Re: perjury

i do not know what question you are asking. perjury is a crime, but pretty hard to prove.

it seems that you do not have an attorney helping you with this case. that is a huge problem. you will have a much harder time winning without a lawyer.

If you would like, give me a call; I am in northern New Jersey. I will be happy to discuss this with you; the telephone consultation will be free.
