Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

Postal Inspection

My post office is currently doing a postal investigation about a package that I signed for that was not mine. WHen I went to the post office I signed 2 sheets because I was picking up my package. I signed 2 sheet not realizing that I signed 2. Now the other package for someone else is missing and they are saying I have it when I don't. I received 1 package and that was it. Now they want me to sign a sworn statement. How do I get this case closed?

Re: Postal Inspection

DON'T SIGN ANYTHING! You need to see an attorney ASAP! From what you tell me, it seems that you are a suspect here. To clear your name, you should get an attorney to deal with the Postal Inspectors. If you do it, they may box you into a statement that you will be stuck with. Even though you may think you are not saying anything to harm yourself, it may be used against you in a way you can't even think of.

There's just no other alternative but to see an attorney and do so now.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
