Settlement Procedure

I have a lawsuit, I am the plaintiff and there's been a settlement. On the Settlement Release and General Release they have included my husband's name as a plaintiff but he is not a plaintiff. Can they do that?

Also, the document states...

''We acknowledge that the settlement of this claim does not constitute an admission of liability on the part of the defendant named herein or an admission that his acts or omissions were negligent''.

I strongly disagree with that statement.

Please advise asap!

that language is in every relelase. as to your husband, because he is married he had a potential claim which the defendant wnats closed out. It is also normal
