Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

Using someone's picture on the internet

I copied my teachers picture off a web page with no disclaimer or copy write information against it. I then used the picture on my personal web page and placed it next to a picture of Hitler and said that she looked like and was, Hitler. I did this because in the past I have been treated very badly by this teacher, and she has insulted me to other students. I accessed the web page in school to show someone and then the school discovered it. They suspended me for 3 days and took away my school computer privileges for the remaining school year. I have researched this and in similar cases the student was just using his/her freedom of speech rights, they received large settlements from their school board. My adult guardians support me on this. Please let me know about my legal rights and the legal actions that are available.
