Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

I am currently on ssd (disability due to a workers comp. injury with a 20 % permanent disability) and was involved in an auto accident. Do I have to claim any pain/suffering injury award that I receive from the auto accidcent? Currently, I receive assistance thru food stamps, heating, electric and medicaid- but I also am the sole support of a house of four=myself, my husband (who is also pemanently disabled), my daughter (who is currently unemployed) and a grandchild under twelve. U used to own a business that failed (that had judgments against me as an owner)=will that affect any future monies from an accident/ Any answer will be greatly appreciated.

You always have a potential claim for pain and suffering caused by an auto accident. The fact that you are the sole support of a household of four is also potentially something you are entitled to recover for. Feel free to call our office to discuss your options and recovery: Office: 267.639.3105, or e-mail at [email protected].
