suing my wife

If I secretly record my wife in order to get the evidence that I need in a civil case to prove to the court that she is guilty as charged will that be summited for evidence and is recording her in new jersey illigal?

I seriously doubt you are going to do this case alone. Thus, you should have an attorney now or you plan to get one. Discuss this situation with him or her as it is a very dicey situation. I have a case like this from the other side right now. There are too many issues at play here that will require a long discussion and not a quick answer on a website.
