I just wrote in to ask a question on behalf of a friend of ours , who was hit by a car and suffered a broken neck and broken legs. I forgot to mention that this woman is also on medicare and medicaid.

She should definitely talk to an attorney right away. It really does not matter that she is on Medicaid and Medicare. There are auto insurance policies and other layers of coverage that will handle the medical portion for her. These policies will likely also provide coverage for her pain and suffering.
