I have been legally separated from my ex-husband since august 2007, last year i was living out of the country and received a notice from him stating that we were having a divorce hearing on april 21st 07, i assumed that we were divorce an got married again in another country on may 9, 2008, after coming here for copies of divorce decree, I found that our divorce was never final, so I file for it and just received the decree on May 7 2009, since I married someone else a year ago I dont know how this can affect the immigration process of me bringing my husband to USA, this marriage was for love and nothing more and I am concerned that the dates on marriage and divorce will affect, can someone tell me which is the best way of doing his papers?... Re: Bigamy and immigration

There seems to be a lot of issues going on all at once.

What is your current immigration status?

Are you a green card holder or a US citizen?

If you married your second husband while still being married to your first then the second marriage is not valid, which of course, will affect your second husband's immigration status.

There are other issues that I can see from the information you have provided that also need to be addressed as well.
