Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey
i know that if someone has child support arrears, they will not be able to renew their passport. does that same law apply to alimony arrears as well?

I would need additional information regarding your particular case before I could comment on it properly.
However, please note that you can file a violation of the support order with the court.
The court will then look at the fact that he is not paying alimony and take steps to make him pay.
The court could also prevent him from traveling.
