Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

Can a US citizen marry someone in another country on a webcam

If I was to contact my fiance, and we were to set up a Web Cam, and a phone contact. Can we be legaly married, even though I am in the USA, and she is in another country. Can the minister preform the rites like this, and would it be legal. We are in personal contact. We are looking at eachother live. If we had the proper wittneses on each side

of the world. Is it legal. I can't see why not. If it is legal, how would you go about it. I think I read someplace it had been done by military chaplains for military personel during war time just using the phone, or via radio. This is urgent. Thank you.

It might be more advisable to file a Fiance petition. This sounds like a very complicated arrangement that may get you a visa or it may not, or worse, it will cause seriously delays! I would say go with the sure thing and file for the fiance petition. This is not a legal opinion, just merely a personal opinion.
