Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey
Green Card process
HI,
I am in USA from Jun 2000 on H1B. I had a break in the job during 2001-2002. My visa was not cancelled but I do not have pay slips for that period. I got a job with a new employer starting from Jun 2002 till current.
I would like to file for Green card (I-140 and I-485). Would the pas break in job cause any problem for me for I-140 or I-485? I am very much concerned.
Thanks,

Re: Green Card process
The break might cause a problem but if it does I think it can be surmounted. I need to see copies of your H-1 approval notices and I-94s.
