Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey
H-1 and EAD
Hi,
Does applying for EAD invalidates H-1 or invalidation occurs from only using. I guess my question is whether one can use H-1 visa even if he has AP(advance Parole) and EAD (employment authorization document)
Thanks

Re: H-1 and EAD
Having H-1B status authorizes you to work for a specific employer. It sounds like you are applying for adjustment of status to become a lawful permanent resident.
H-1B status is a "dual intent" status, which means that you can pursue permanent status without jeopardizing your H-1B status.
If you need further clarification, you should speak to an attorney to review your entire situation.
