Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

I-485 Retracting question..
Hi,
I need to know what to do in order to cancel all the pending applications for permanenet resi. status for my ex-wife. Some background, I am a US citizen, she came here on Fiancee' visa, we got married, I filed all the forms to adjust her status and to get a green card for her, but we ended up getting divorced. In the mean time all the paper work that I filed for her, is just now coming thru. I've just received a notice to appear with her for ''The interview''. What steps do I need to take, to ensure that in future I dont have any backlashes from INS, if I decide to get married someone from my country again. What do I need to do to notify INS about my situation? Please help, I'd like to do this properly so that If in the future if I get married again, I dont have any problems with INS for the new person. Thanks in advance.

You can write to immigration office noticing them about your divorce.
