Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

Immigration- Detainer

If an inmate has an immigration detainer, what do you think is the probability that this person can be deported? Is there any hope that the inmate will not be removed?

Re: Immigration- Detainer

The ability for an individual to qualify for relief from deportation is specific to each case and depends on a number of factors (ie: type of conviction, immigration status, equities...)

All this needs to be analyzed in order to determine if relief is available. It is advisable to consult with an immigration lawyer prior to any immigration proceedings.
