To see whether you feel that a lawyer is qualified to represent someone in deportation proceedings, you should see if the lawyer maintains an informative website, which explains the lawyer's/firm's areas of expertise and their background and experience in handling such cases. You should also try to see whether there are client ratings/reviews available on the lawyer/firm. Many times, comparing lawyers/firms this way will give you a good idea of whether you feel that the lawyer/firm is qualified.
