Inventor currently F1, seeking H1B for business agreement then Greencard
Hello
I know situation is unusual, while undergraduate in the United States on F-1 status, I did a research in the transportation industry and wrote original business plan for a transportation process that will revolutionize the way people travel around the tri- state area.
A company has agreed to invest 100% in this business due to its low risk. Its time to sign partnership agreement at which a stake will be marked out for me. Here come my questions
- Do you advice I sign partnership agreement form with the company to have a stake in my own original draft or idea or invention whatever u call it?
- DO you advice that I can be with the company on H-1B visa while receiving “Elephant salary for my invention as written in the agreement” then covert to green card after few years?
- Is there a class of visa for extra-ordinary people like me?
- I have a bachelor’s degree but not related to my area of research?
Please help with reply

You can do all of the above you mentioned in your inquiry. you should have an attorney look at the agreement before you sign. Yes...there is an extra ordinary category called EB1 where you can sponsor yourself...no employer is necessary.
