Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey
im in J 1 visa sponsored by a cia, it expires in march but id like to leave the program before in january and stay here till march, would i be illegal or my status will be the same till march even thou i dont belong to the program anymore?

You were made aware of the consequences of leaving the program like all J1 Visa holders.
Accordingly, if you drop out of the program then you only have 10 day to remain in the country. After that you will be considered illegal.
Be very aware of the fact that once you drop out of the program, the organization MUST inform the US immigration.
