Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

Lending id to a minor

A person who is a legal resident with conditions who is 23 (will be applying to get them removed soon) gave his 20 yr. old friend his i.d. to get into a bar and they both got caught. The 23 yr old now has to go to court. My two ?'s are: Will this person need a lawyer for court and will this affect their chances of having their conditions removed when the go and apply with immigration???

Re: Lending id to a minor

This individual should definately obtain a criminal lawyer as well as an immigration lawyer to ensure there are no inadmissibility or removability consequences from a future conviction.

You should consult with an experienced immigration lawyer before taking any plea agreement.
