While living in USA, can I do freelance job ?

While living in USA, can I do freelance job and pay tax to another country, as I do not have work permit in USA?

You may only work if you have employment authorization, or if you have a non-immigrant visa that permits you to work at a particular job. If you work without authorization, you subject yourself to removal from the country (as in immigration court & deportation proceedings). You also would wipe out your chances of getting a green card (unless it is through marriage).

If the company for whom you will be freelancing is willing to petition for you, you might be able to qualify for some type of authorization.
