partnership with H1 Sponsor

Can a person be a partner in a company which sponsors his H1 visa? If yes, can he be a profit sharing or salaried partner only?

One can be a partner in a company which sponsors his H1 visa. He must be paid the salary stated on the H1B petition. At the same time, he also can share the proift as a partner.
