What should i do.

Im a permanent resident of the U.S. my husband is in the dominican republic i want to bring him here. im going to send my citizenship application, to see if i can pass the test and be citizen. How it will be better for me to bring my husband here, wait to be citizen and do the papers, or do it now being a permanent resident?

You can file an application for your husband now, but he will have to wait in the Dominican Republic for his priority date to become current. When you become a citizen, you will be able to upgrade your petition so that he will be immediately able to come to the US as a green card holder. You should consider discussing the process in detail with an immigration attorney to understand it in detail.

I would need more information regarding your particular case before I can comment on it properly.

Have you tried filing the paperwork to bring him here now and applied for your citizenship at the same time?

By the time the immigration service has processed the paperwork for him your citizenship paperwork would have been completed.
