Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

What is my Status/Can I move

Situation : I had my Green Card interview on Dec 22 2003.

The officer said, The US Government belives

are married . You dont need to have another interview.

But we cant stamp your passport because, the

cia security check has not been completed.

once its clear, you will get a letter, and you just need to come to the office and get a stamp.

Question : Can my and Wife and I move to another state, without delaying the the process.

I know if we would have moved before the interview, it could have delayed things, but how about now.

Thank You.

Re: What is my Status/Can I move

Your status is still considered to be "c9" that means that your green card application is still pending. If you move, you should notify the office of your new address and they will send you your notification at your new address. If you move, they may forward your file to the new district - and yes perhaps some delay. Good luck!
