Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

I'm a student, can I apply for a green card?

I came to this country when I was 6 years old. I am now going to turn 18 in September. I finished high school in New Jersey, and now I am living in New York. I can't get into a college or university because I am not legal. I can't even work properly. Is there any way I can apply for a green card? Or even a temporary residence? Thank-you.
