if you left your car running and it was stolen will auto insurance co pay for the vehilce

That depends on all the facts...
Where did you leave the car running? In front of your house in a decent neighborhood? How long was it left? Did you do it on a street in a bad part of New Brunswick?
If you are grossly negligent, you may be sh__-otta luck. But, if you were warming up you car in your drive in a decent neighborhood, that's not negligent, let alone grossly negligent. If you left it run to run in a Wawa for a cup of coffee, that may have been grossly negligent.
Few things in life have simple answers, and NOTHING about insurance does.
