Legal Question in Insurance Law in New Jersey
Car leasing company wants 20K
I let my friend drive my leased car and he took insurance to his name. I notified my leasing company and they asked for a copy of insurance card never mentioning that I might be in lease default. Now they charge me 20K termination fee and want the car back because my lease agreement states that I have to have insurance under my name. What should I do?
