Legal Question in Insurance Law in New Jersey
Car theft
My car got stolen April, 10 of this year. The car was recovered a couple weeks later. When I got the call from the police department I called my insurance company and was told to bring the car to a local body shop. A few days later an adjuster was sent to look at the car. It's been over a month now and my case is not yet settled and the insurance company is telling me that it may not pay the claim. Please help me. What are my options? I need your help.

Re: Car theft
Contact the New Jersey Dept. of Insurance. They will help get the ball rolling. You can find them on the State of Nj's website. Your other option is to sue the insurance company. That, however, will take time to process thru the system
