Legal Question in Insurance Law in New Jersey

Construction death

What can I do if I feel that my case was

mishandled ... My father was killed on

the job and the compensation for my

mother and my siblings was virtually

nill..I honestly believe that my father's

case was dragged out, misrepresented

and flat out mishandled. I was very

young and had no knowledge of what

was going on. To top it off I was told

that we didn't get a healthy sum

because it was his fault. No way a man

with nearly 12 kids to feed at the time

of his death would be so careless. Hard

working , yes! careless, no! When

contacting the lawyer who handled this I

found out he was dead..

His son who took over the practice has

no clue where to even look files or

paperwork pertaing to the

case ...assuring me that niether he or

his father really knew what they were

doing.. Now what ? I can't afford a fancy

legal team ,but I must try what I can

in order to secure some type of

retirement plan for my mother
